Q: Is Nadus Films a Film Company or a non-profit?
A: Nadus Films is registered 501c3 non profit film organization. However, with each film we make, we register that film project as a for profit LLC which enables investors to come on board and help with production costs with the intention of seeing a return. All donations made to Nadus Films are tax deductible! So, to sum it up… Nadus Films is a non-profit film company that also works with investors with a for-profit business goal.
Q: How Can I get involved?
A: The biggest service we need help with is helping to get our films shown and to help raise money for our partners. Nadus Films makes films that make a difference, however, we never want our films to end there. We partner with organizations on the ground who are doing great work. Help raise money for things such as water wells, education, medical and even Nadus Films’ next film project! You can help organize and throw a fundraiser that is coupled with a screening of one of our films. Consider getting involved with the Nadus Films crew by helping raise awareness and raise money! Please contact or call us for more inquiries!

Please Call Nadus films at 800.625.9043 if you have more questions.

Q: How does Nadus choose its stories?
A: We choose our stories via reputable sources that are established organizations on the ground in the countries in which we film. These partners, after the film has been released, can help facilitate real action as a result of the awareness raised by our films. We’re always looking for places to travel and document where there are injustices that need world attention. We make films that make a difference, but we don’t make films alone. It is for that reason we partner with an organization in the countries we work, and work with them in making a powerful documentary that gives a voice to the voiceless. If you have a powerful story that you think needs to be documented, please contact us here.
Q: What is the connection to Sudan, if any?
A: Nadus films began out of a story and eye-opening understanding of Southern Sudan’s history over the last half century. Our company was born because of this story. NADUS is literally Sudan spelled backwards. Our company was created so it could tell and display important stories, and we feel an importance to respond and display stories no matter where they are found. Our journey began in Sudan and we have seen a new nation emerge during our time there filming. Our desire is to continue serving the people of Southern Sudan while opening our doors to other areas of the world where the voiceless need a voice!
Q: How much does it cost to make a film?
A: This largely depends on a.) what country the film is made in and b.) what the story is. However, Nadus Films aims at making its documentary films fall within the range of $120k-$160k. We strike the balance between great films and an affordable budget. We work diligently each year to quickly fulfill our annual budget, so that all donations that come in from donors go 100% toward each project.
Q: Is Nadus affiliated with a Religious Organization?
A: Nadus Films is not affiliated with a religious organization, church, etc. We serve people regardless of religion, political preference, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation or gender. Nadus FIlms is not legally classified as a faith-based organization, the founder of Nadus FIlms is inspired by his Christian faith and lives this out, as do many of our staff/volunteers. Many of our ground partners are Christian organizations that desire to holistically serve and equip those in need.
Q: Where do we Travel?
A: Nadus Films travels anywhere and everywhere to tell the story effectively. We travel where there’s a.) a great story needing to be told and b.) where there’s a partnership to respond to the “call to action”.
