In the fall of 2004, Coury Deeb learned about the Southern Sudanese and how for decades they have been persecuted and have struggled for survival.
Just a few months later in 2005, Coury traveled to Southern Sudan to use his gifts as a photographer and film maker to document their stories in hope of giving the voiceless a voice. Upon returning to the states, the vision for Nadus Films grew & Coury founded the non-profit in 2007. Less than 5 years later, Nadus Films has successfully filmed 2 feature length films on location in Southern Sudan and are now in post production for their 3rd feature film shot on location in Guatemala City. Not only does Nadus Films raise awareness with its work, but also supports ground partner led initiatives that gives back to the communities who make our films possible. Nadus Films has helped in areas like well drilling, medical provisions & educational needs. It is our desire to continue making films that make a difference by impacting the viewer and those in which help make our films possible.
